Who we are

CoreHome is a smart home brand operated by CORE Technologies. This website showcases our products and lets you get in touch with us. For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights described below, contact us at support@corehome.co. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

The data we collect

We collect only the data you choose to send us:

• Contact form. When you send us a message, we collect the name, email address and message you enter, and an optional subject. We use your email address only to reply to your enquiry.
• Abuse prevention. To stop automated abuse of the contact form we rate-limit by IP address. The address itself is not stored — it is reduced to a short one-way hash that cannot be turned back into the original address.

The site has no public sign-up, and browsing it creates no account. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing.

How we use your data

• To read and reply to messages you send us through the contact form.
• To keep the contact form available and protect it from abuse.

Our legal bases (where the GDPR applies) are your consent, which you give by submitting the contact form, and our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.

Where your data is processed

CoreHome runs on Amazon Web Services. The data you send is processed by AWS on our behalf (as our processor) in the region where the service is hosted, which is within the European Union. AWS acts only on our instructions. We do not transfer your personal data to any other third party except as required to provide the service or by law.

How long we keep it

Contact messages are kept while we handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted on request. We do not keep your personal data longer than we need it for the purpose it was given.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you have rights over your personal data, including the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
• delete your data (see the next section);
• object to or restrict certain processing;
• receive a copy of your data in a portable form;
• withdraw consent you previously gave, at any time.

We do not sell personal data, so there is nothing to opt out of in that respect. To exercise any right, email support@corehome.co. We respond within the time the applicable law requires.

Deleting your data

To delete a message you sent us through the contact form, email support@corehome.co from the address you used, and we will remove it.

How we protect it

The data you send is handled over encrypted connections and stored in a database that is not readable by the public — only our staff, signing in through multi-factor authentication, can read contact messages. No system is perfectly secure, but we design the site to collect and expose as little personal data as possible.

Children

This website is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes or the law requires. When we do, we update the date at the top. Significant changes will be made clear on the site.
